The Paddock Community Nature Park was opened to the public in 2000 and is located on the verdant border of Tottenham and Walthamstow. It was developed as a haven for birds and small mammals - and human beings! The result is scrubland, crammed with: hawthorn; willow; elder; buddleia; herb robert; purple flowering comfrey; oxeye daises and guelder and dog rose. An oasis of calm amidst the hussle and bussle of inner London.

Friends of the Paddock are a voluntary group that was formed to look after the interests of the park and to foster increased awareness of wildlife in the community. Membership of the Paddock is open to all and is entirely free.

The Haringey branch of the London Wildlife Trust (Haringey Group) organise monthly volunteer work mornings on the second Sunday of each month. Please contact the Secretary if you are interested in joining in. We also hold other wildlife-based activities at the Paddock.

The site is open to the public at dawn and is locked at dusk.
Friends of the Paddock are working partners with the London Borough of Haringey.
